Henry Aldrich

From 1953 - Henry’s worried he might lose his girlfriend when she acts in the school’s play. So he needs to sign up for the play to keep an eye on her. Problem? Only girls’ parts are left.

Here’s a story from Henry Aldrich #15 (Catchy title, huh?), from 1953.

Henry’s girlfriend Geraldine is signing up for the lead part in the school play. Problem is that George, Henry’s rival, is the male lead – with a kiss in the script.

So Henry has to get a part in the play to keep tabs on her. But there’s only female parts left. A wig, a dress, some makeup and voila! Henrietta is born.
